According to a report by KSRO media on November 20th, the city of Santa Rosa in California, USA is contemplating the implementation of a set of policies to prevent teenagers from accessing tobacco products.
The policy proposal recommends that businesses selling cigarettes and other tobacco products obtain a tobacco retail license. It also imposes stricter restrictions on the sale of flavored tobacco and bans the sale of e-cigarettes.
The policy has been submitted to the Santa Rosa City Council and is expected to be discussed and further reviewed by municipal government officials in the first quarter of 2024.
