Turkish Tobacco Prices Surge, Reaching Record Highs

 

Turkish cigarettes prices have increased again, with the most expensive brand now costing 53 lira ($1.8) and the cheapest at 42 lira ($1.5).

According to Turkish media outlet Haberglobal on November 12, Erol Dündar, the chairman of the Turkish Tekel Dealers Aid Association, announced on social media that cigarette prices have increased once again.

According to a list published by Dengdar, the price of the most expensive cigarette has increased to 53 liras (approximately 1.8 dollars), while the cheapest one is priced at 42 liras (approximately 1.5 dollars).
